Our 14th Year! April 2012   Tempo is a non-competitive festival held in Carman, Manitoba. This year's events will be in April 2011 for strings, piano, dance, speech arts, vocal/choral and band. We thank the Boyne Regional Library as well as Carman Pharmacy for distributing schedules as well. Our Band day, on April 5, 2012, went extremely well with outstanding presentations from our grade 7 to 12s. Please feel free to join us at DANCE April 16th and FIDDLE on April 17th (especially the lively

presentation of fiddle songs at 2:45 to 3:45 pm). Both events at Carman United Church. For all other events have a look at the above schedule. If you have trouble viewing it, go to adobe.com reader for help. Most computers should have this!

A volunteer committee plans the festival a year in advance and you are welcome to help! We are always looking for new members and it is so rewarding. Volunteering during festival days is another great way to help.  Please note that our fiddle day is led by Patii Lamoureux. Patti's website http://www.pattilamoureux.com/    We are honoured to be hosting this event in Carman. All are welcome to play and watch.
